I've known Chase for a while now and around June of last year decided to reach out to him and ask him for some advice getting in better shape. As I realized that walking up a flight of stairs tired me out. When I reached out to him he told me to set realistic goals and expectations and to not over do things and get burnt out early on, as I've done so in the past. As someone who hadn't done much physical activity he set up an easy routine of just cardio, but made it clear that it was more to develop a habit of working out regularly and not the intensity of it. That the journey towards getting healthier wasn't a sprint but a marathon and it had to be sustainable. As working out became more regular he recommended adding some strength training a couple of days. Eventually once this all became the new normal for me, he asked if I was up to tracking my macros and daily caloric intake.
